The Festival Terra e Laghi brings to Viggiù a family theater program with free performances in various locations around the town. The lineup combines shows for adults and children, hosting professional companies in spaces such as the historic center, Villa Borromeo, Teatro Baraggia, and the Oratory. The program runs from June to November with six evenings spread across summer and autumn.

Domenica 20 settembre 2026 la frazione Brozzo di Marcheno ospita l'iniziativa "Narrare i Borghi", un percorso teatrale che valorizza la memoria e le tradizioni locali. La giornata prevede spettacoli teatrali e musicali appositamente progettati, con la partecipazione della Banda Musicale S. Cecilia di Lodrino che animerà le vie del borgo con una sfilata e accompagnamento musicale. In caso di pioggia l'evento è rinviato a domenica 27 settembre 2026.

Jerago con Orago (VA)
The Terra & Laghi 2026 festival brings two open-air theatre performances to Jerago con Orago. The first, on June 23 at 9:00 PM in the courtyard of Castello di Jerago, is 'Quanta strada ha fatto Bartali', a prose play that retraces the figure of Gino Bartali, intertwining sport, memory and solidarity. Admission is free. The second performance, 'L'Aviatore', is scheduled for September 26 at the Area Feste of Parco Onetto, also in Jerago con Orago.
Teatro in Villa
Cernusco Lombardone (LC)
The Teatro in Villa series returns to Cernusco Lombardone with two evening performances with free admission. On July 11, in the setting of Villa Borgazzi, "Stretto" will be performed; on September 26, Corte Gadda at via Lecco 20 hosts "Sono mancato all'affetto dei miei cari", staged by the company La Sarabanda. Both events start at 9 PM and do not require booking. This year's common thread is theatrical geographies, a theme that unites the two works proposed by the municipal administration.
