Teatro della Fondazione Rubini
Organised by Fondazione Opere Pie Riunite Giovanni Battista Rubini
On Saturday 7 November at 9 pm, the dialect comedy "Pota Yes... si va in America" will be staged at the Teatro della Fondazione Rubini in Romano di Lombardia, performed by the company Piccole Volpi. The show traces, from the 1930s to the 1960s, the story of many Italians who sought to break free from the jobs imposed by family traditions in order to pursue the American Dream. The journey to the new continent intertwines loves, family ties and hopes, between the confidence in success and the doubt of returning. The evening is part of the "Stasìra en và a Teater" series and is promoted by the Fondazione Opere Pie Riunite Giovanni Battista Rubini, with the patronage of the Comune di Romano di Lombardia.
