Castagnata del Gruppo Alpini
Piazza Garibaldi
Organised by Gruppo Alpini di Romano
On Sunday 1 November 2026 the chestnut festival of the Gruppo Alpini returns to Romano di Lombardia, in Piazza Garibaldi. The event is organised by the Gruppo Alpini di Romano. During the day the Alpini hand out roasted chestnuts in the square. This year's novelty is the presence of bread and salamella alongside the chestnuts. Just drop by the square to spend a few hours in company; the day supports the activities of the local alpine group.
