Biblioteca comunale, via Borsi 1, Samarate
Organised by Comune di Samarate
Free entry
The municipal library of Samarate, at via Borsi 1, hosts the lecture series "Art beyond the frame: visions, sounds and matter", dedicated to multimedia arts and designed for an adult audience. The programme is spread over two periods, autumn 2026 (October and November) and spring 2027 (February-April). The first confirmed appointment is Wednesday 21 October 2026 at 8.30 pm, with the meeting "Written light: painting and photography". The common thread is the relationship between image, sound and matter, that is, what happens to art when it leaves the traditional frame. The initiative is also linked to the upcoming opening of the library's new multimedia room. The series is organised by the Municipality of Samarate.
The meetings are held at the municipal library pavilion, at via Borsi 1. Wednesday 21 October 2026, 8.30 pm: "Written light: painting and photography", first meeting of the autumn series. Lecture series designed for an adult audience. Programme and updates on the page of the Provincial Library Network of Varese, Samarate Library section.
