Sale Marasino turns orange again with the 43rd National Pumpkin Challenge, the heart of the Sale in Zucca event. Growers from all over Italy compete in Piazza del Comune with record-breaking pumpkins, in a competition that combines agricultural passion and festive spirit.
The weekend transforms the town into a village of taste: food stalls with pumpkin-based dishes, show cooking and tastings, an agricultural market and a market exhibition with local products and crafts. Live music, exhibitions, workshops for children and guided tours complete the program.
On Sunday, September 13, from 2:00 PM, the weighing and awarding of the largest pumpkin.
