From 4 to 7 March 2027, Morbegno hosts the World Indoor Tug of War Championships, organized by the Tug of War International Federation (TWIF). The best national teams compete in a discipline that combines strength, technique and strategy, in a sports hall set up for the occasion. The Valtellina town, located between Lake Como and the Alps, offers a historic stone center, mountain views and a cuisine whose symbol is Bitto cheese.
