A series of informational meetings promoted by Municipality 6 of the City of Milan to help citizens, especially the elderly, recognize and defend themselves against scams. Officers of the Local Police and the State Police illustrate the most common types of fraud, from fake utility workers to fake lawyers, and explain how to behave to avoid becoming a victim and who to contact in case of need. The initiative is funded by the Ministry of the Interior through the Fund for combating scams against the elderly and is part of a series of regular appointments in the neighborhoods of Municipality 6.

Il primo Picasso di Milano. Un moschettiere tra rivoluzione, antifranchismo e solidarietà internazionale

From June 3 to September 27, 2026, the Museo del Novecento dedicates an exhibition focus to "Homme assis", the first painting by Pablo Picasso to enter Milan's civic collections in 1972. The 1967 work, a musketeer, is explored through a research project investigating its political and social value, between revolution, anti-Francoism and international solidarity. The exhibition, curated by Roberto Pini and set up on the ground floor of the museum, reconstructs the story of the painting and the context in which it arrived in Milan.

Q-Hub Festa della Birra

From August 28 to October 4, 2026, the Q-Hub in Milan hosts a whole month of beer festival. The event transforms the Via Mecenate space into a large beer garden where you can try different beers, including the official specialty of Iron Maiden. Music, street food and long tables accompany the evenings, with a formula designed to experience conviviality without haste. An opportunity for those who want to discover original beers in an informal and dynamic context.

MITO SettembreMusica 2026

From September 6 to 20, 2026, MITO SettembreMusica returns to Milan and Turin, the international music festival that for its twentieth edition, directed by Speranza Scappucci, explores the concept of 'Harmonia'. Over 60 concerts animate theaters, churches and auditoriums with a program spanning centuries and genres: symphonic, baroque, contemporary, musical theater. The opening is entrusted to Britten's War Requiem on Sunday, September 6 at Teatro alla Scala, while the closing on Saturday, September 19 at Teatro Dal Verme features the Bamberger Symphoniker conducted by Jakub Hrůša. In Milan, music resounds in places such as Piccolo Teatro, the Conservatory and various churches, offering a widespread itinerary through the city.
