SEVESO 2076 - Come un'emergenza ambientale diventa laboratorio di futuro
Edificio San Francesco, Piazza Sant'Ambrogio 9
Fifty years after the Seveso disaster, the exhibition retraces the legacy of that event and the journey that transformed a territory marked by emergency into a laboratory of environmental innovation. Through five sections – "A Mobilization of People", "A New Environmental Awareness", "Seveso Changes Europe", "Chemistry Goes Green", "The Rebirth of a Territory" – the exhibition intertwines historical memory and future perspectives. At the heart of the story is the Bosco delle Querce, the green area born from remediation and today a symbol of regeneration, recently awarded the European Heritage Label.
