Itineraries of history and art in the Lodigiano

Lodi (LO)

 Banca Centropadana, Corso Roma 100

Organised by Pro Loco di Lodi

Open in Google Maps

A series of meetings and visits dedicated to the history and art of the Lodigiano, promoted by the Pro Loco of Lodi with the contribution of BCC Centropadana. The cycle opens with a visit to Palazzo Pitoletti, at via XX Settembre 29 in Lodi, dedicated to the rooms of Napoleon and Sissi. This is followed, at the headquarters of Banca Centropadana in Corso Roma 100, by four lectures given by local scholars: stories of Lodigiano life in the Sforza period, the meeting between Count Melzi d'Eril and Napoleon Bonaparte, and two in-depth studies on Francis and Clare of Assisi in the Lodigiano, among churches, monasteries, oratories and convents. The poster of the initiative reproduces a detail of the fresco cycle of the church of San Lorenzo in Lodi.
