The Municipality of Colverde celebrates National Unity and Armed Forces Day on Sunday 8 November 2026 with the commemoration of the Fallen of all wars. The ceremony takes place in the hamlet of Gironico. The gathering is at 9.45 at the church of Santi Nazaro e Celso, where Holy Mass is celebrated at 10. From here the procession starts towards the Monument to the Fallen, with the laying of the laurel wreath, accompanied by the Corpo Musicale di Rebbio and speeches by the authorities. On the same day, wreaths and floral decorations are also laid at the monuments to the Fallen in Drezzo and Parè, so that the commemoration involves the entire municipal territory. The initiative is organised by the Municipality of Colverde, which invites the population to participate and to display the tricolour from their homes starting Saturday 7 November.
