The Natalia Ginzburg Library in Cesano Maderno hosts a meeting dedicated to "L’invincibile estate di Liliana", the book with which Cristina Rivera Garza won the 2024 Pulitzer Prize. The author reconstructs the life and death of her sister Liliana, a victim of femicide in Mexico City in 1990, intertwining personal memory, reportage, and reflection on gender-based violence. The translator Giulia Zaneggo, who edited the Italian version of the volume, will dialogue with the audience. The meeting is part of the "Leggere il presente" series promoted by the libraries of the Distretto Pianura Est.
