Author Meetings - Ezio Gavazzeni presents "I cecchini del weekend"
Salone di Apollo, Piazza Libertà 18
Meeting with Ezio Gavazzeni, author of the investigative book "I cecchini del weekend". The book reconstructs the organization of the so-called "human safaris" during the siege of Sarajevo (1992-1996), when wealthy foreigners paid to join Serb-Bosnian snipers and shoot at human targets. The most coveted trophy for the "hunters" were children. The event, presented by Samuele Motta of Rete Antimafie Martesana, analyzes the dynamics and ethical implications of these events.
