60° Ferragosto in Piazza

The Municipality of Castro has established a no-stopping and no-parking zone on Lungolago Caduti sul Lavoro from August 1 to 16, 2026, to allow the installation of structures necessary for the event “60° Ferragosto in Piazza”. The event will take place in the town center, with setups occupying the lakeside area. Now in its sixtieth edition, the event likely includes food stalls, shows, and entertainment to celebrate Ferragosto. Specific program details are not yet available, but the event is eagerly awaited by residents and tourists.
Sagra di San Lorenzo

From 1 to 10 August 2026, the traditional Sagra di San Lorenzo takes place in Castro, organized by the Parish of Castro. The event includes moments of celebration and gathering, with a shuttle service to facilitate the movement of participants. For the occasion, parking bans are established in via Coletto and via San Lorenzo.
