1st Edition of the Popular University: St. Francis of Assisi
Centro Civico "Nelson Mandela", Castegnato (BS)
The Municipality of Castegnato organizes the first edition of the Popular University, a series of four lectures dedicated to the figure of St. Francis of Assisi, defined as "the first Italian" by Aldo Cazzullo. The meetings take place every Thursday evening at the conference room of the "Nelson Mandela" Civic Center and address the Saint from different perspectives: historical-artistic, literary (the Canticle of the Creatures), pedagogical-spiritual, and finally his role as patron saint of Italy. The initiative is open to all citizens and aims to promote culture through shared reflection.
