Festa attorno alla Grà
Parco Comunale 'Tonino Piccinelli', SP62, Brinzio
The Festa attorno alla Grà is an autumn event celebrating the chestnut, the symbolic fruit of the Brinzio area. The name refers to the ancient stone structure (the grà) used for drying chestnuts, which is still the centerpiece of traditional beating demonstrations. During the day, visitors can taste local specialties and mondelle (dried and rehydrated chestnuts), and join guided tours explaining the history and processing techniques.
