Tesori. Il grande romanzo dei musei bresciani. 1826-2026
Museo di Santa Giulia, Brescia
Organised by Fondazione Brescia Musei
From 4 November 2026 to 22 August 2027, the Museo di Santa Giulia in Brescia hosts the exhibition Tesori. Il grande romanzo dei musei bresciani, a journey that retraces the history of the city's collections through one hundred works from the museum heritage, most of which are not on public display. The exhibition covers a broad chronological span, from antiquity to the contemporary, and interweaves the stories of the objects with great history and with the biographies of those who studied and donated them. It coincides with the museum's two hundredth anniversary (1826-2026) and benefits from the collaboration of the Biblioteca Queriniana, which lends ancient volumes. Educational activities designed for children aged 6 to 11 are planned for families. The exhibition is promoted by Fondazione Brescia Musei with the Comune di Brescia.
