The Municipal Administration of Bariano, together with the local veterans' associations, celebrates on Sunday 8 November 2026 the Giornata dell'Unità Nazionale e delle Forze Armate, to remember the fallen who fought for the unity and freedom of Italy. The ceremony opens at 10:00 with Holy Mass in the Parish Church. This is followed by the procession with the laying of a laurel wreath at the Monumento dei Caduti in Piazza Papa Giovanni XXIII, then the route continues to the municipal cemetery for the floral tribute at the Monumento degli Avieri and at the graves of the fallen, with speeches by the institutions. The commemoration is attended by the local associations, the Corpo Civico Musicale and the Consiglio Comunale dei Ragazzi e delle Ragazze. Citizens are invited to take part by displaying the tricolour flag. The event is organised by the Comune di Bariano.
